By accessing or using Lifespans ("the Service"), operated by Reality Engine Corp., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Lifespans is an AI-powered life simulation game. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate narrative content, character scenarios, and gameplay events. Content is procedurally generated and fictional except where clearly marked as a historical scenario.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Lifespans, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 and legally able to enter into these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts where needed to protect the Service, enforce our rules, or comply with law.
Lifespans offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. If you subscribe, you authorize us and our payment provider to charge your payment method accordingly. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and access to paid features will continue through the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
If you want to delete your account while a paid subscription is still active, you may need to cancel the subscription first. Some billing and transaction records may still be retained after account deletion where required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal compliance purposes.
All sales are final except where required by law or where we determine a charge was made in error. See our Refund Policy.
The Service uses third-party AI models to generate game content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, appropriateness, or quality of AI-generated output. The game may include mature or difficult themes as part of realistic life simulation.
Outside of clearly labeled historical scenarios, characters, NPCs, and life events are fictional and procedurally generated. Any resemblance to real persons, living or deceased, is coincidental and unintentional.
Historical scenarios are intentionally based on public historical records and are identified as such within the product.

The Service, including its software, prompts, systems, branding, graphics, audio, and overall game design, remains our property or the property of our licensors. Your game data and account-linked histories remain associated with your account, but the underlying Service and its systems do not transfer to you.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect personal data.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the Service will always be free from bugs, delays, or harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reality Engine Corp. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service where necessary to enforce these Terms, respond to abuse, protect the Service, or comply with law. You may stop using the Service at any time, and where available you may use in-product account deletion tools to request removal of your account data, subject to limited legal retention obligations.
